Path is an application that is based upon the concept of “sharing your life journey” with your family and your closest friends. Path was launched in 2010 in San Francisco, CA by a former Facebooker. Since its debut, some 3 million people have downloaded the application.

Path is an intimate social networking tool based on smart journal that allows users to tell their story, share pictures and choose the 150 people whom they wish to share those with.

Ever wonder “is this a friend request to ignore?” Most people have encountered at least one ‘unusual’ Facebook friend request. That said, adding a new friend on Facebook is more strategic than ‘accept’ or ‘ignore.’ After all, admitting someone into your inner circle can also mean exposing them to your private family photos and even your physical coordinates (i.e. Facebook “check-ins”).

Are social media and an online marketing strategy a good investment of time and money?

It should come as no surprise that the proliferation of social media has turned social networking into an important business tool. And with each year that passes, more and more social networking sites have cropped up, each with unique opportunities to market a business or product. The problem is: you only need to master them.  No big deal, right? (I’m kidding).

Is it possible these days to grow an online business without an online marketing strategy –including all the liking, blogging, sharing and tweeting?  After all, it’s time consuming!
