An internet marketing coach can help your business to grow online. Develop a solid marketing strategy, based on stats and analysis rather than guesses.

Are social media and an online marketing strategy a good investment of time and money?

It should come as no surprise that the proliferation of social media has turned social networking into an important business tool. And with each year that passes, more and more social networking sites have cropped up, each with unique opportunities to market a business or product. The problem is: you only need to master them.  No big deal, right? (I’m kidding).

Is it possible these days to grow an online business without an online marketing strategy –including all the liking, blogging, sharing and tweeting?  After all, it’s time consuming!

In much the same way that a seed all-inclusively contains the DNA of a tree (its branches, leaves and fruit), each of our intentions contain a ‘fruit,’ or end result as well.

Alternatively, no matter how sophisticated the DNA of a seed, if the environment that seed is planted in does not have a healthy ‘soil,’ there is no way for the seed to bear healthy fruit.

Intention is equally as important as environment.

SheBytes has done countless articles on crucial female topics such as gender inequality in the workplace, women and technology, where are the superwomen and embracing femininity.

It seems that despite the clear inequality that still exists between males and females in the workplace, very little has been done by companies which has been effective in remedying this issue.

This “Link Round Up” is going to be different!

Sure, we’ll kick it off with a picture of an adorable animal, like we always do, but this time SheBytes pays tribute to a wide array of blogs that we read, draw inspiration from and consistently turn to in hours of procrastination.

They’ve made us smile, cry, think and wonder, and have inspired us to change our lives…

As data becomes increasingly digital, are Business Cards becoming obsolete?  With the entire hullabaloo (and yes, I’ve been anxiously waiting to use that word on SheBytes for months now!), about the digitization of the business card, and the possibility of About.me making the traditional business card obsolete, I found it an apt opportunity to lend some of my input.

Whether the business card will actually no longer be relevant, in the future is impossible to say, but I am certain that business cards are still integral in the professional community today.

Daring to be different is no easy task; especially for women!

This morning I read through a special McKinsey & Company report, by Joanna Barsh and Lareina Yee titled: “Unlocking the full potential of women in the U.S. economy” . Although the report, 5 full pages, was a little lengthy for my taste, it presented numerous fascinating observations made after much thorough research and contemplation. In short, the report posits that a surefire way to increase GDP, employment, productivity and overall U.S. economic activity is to focus corporate efforts on making certain that women achieve the same roles as men in the workplace.

Integrity on the Internet is a hot topic!  Elizabeth Boylan’s article “Do Multiple Identities Reflect a Lack of Integrity?” hits the nail on the head!  I read it and thought the way she approached the argument was exceptional. Although it may seem to some that the Internet is a place where no harm can come of establishing numerous Bruce Wayne/Batman alter egos and using these various versions and visages of the self as masks for different situations, these types of individuals ignore altogether the concept of integrity.

Did you know you can save, as well as edit and create documents on your iPhone 4 / iPad 2? Purchase the Documents To Go application.  It will allow you to save a full suite of Microsoft Office documents to your device (Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents) in their original format.  Documents To Go will also let you save and view Adobe PDF files, Apple iWork files, and others.

Want to keep you iPhone 4 and iPad 2 data safe?  Set your device to self destruct!

Tablets and smartphones can be repositories for loads of sensitive data.  If you’re using your device for business and it’s on ActiveSync with MS Exchange, just in case you lose it (or you’re fired), chances are your employer can wipe your device on the admin side.
