If you’ve ever been told that you need to project more in meetings; I have the perfect solution; a Pico, pocket sized handheld projector! These super-compact, super-light, super-awesome projectors can fit into your pocket and project a crisp, bright image up to 60” wide.

My favorite thing about the pocket Pico is that it can wirelessly connect to your computer, smartphone, or camera so your audience can see what you see. Just be sure to turn your phone on airplane mode as you don’t want a surprise sex(t) message from your Albanian mistress during a presentation.

The CEO of Tech Company Yipit knows a thing or two about starting up a startup.

The man behind the magic; Vinicius Vacanti (@vacanti), frequently blogs on his website that shares a name with…umm…himself: viniciusvacanti.com. He writes specifically about entrepreneurship and the roller coaster world of startups, and a recent post really caught my attention.

The Web has come a lonnnnnnnng way since the early 90s; the evolution is quite stunning! We have transitioned from Netscape Navigator, AOL, and dancing babies to online retail stores, video conferencing, and augmented reality.  If you’ve never heard of Marissa Mayer, one of Google’s senior executives (one of few women exectutives in tech), allow me to fill you in:

  • According to Wikipedia, Mayer was born in 1975
  • She graduated from  Stanford University
  • She joined Google in 1999, when the company had under 20 employees (talk about the right place at the right time!)
  • Mayer became the first female engineer hired by Google
  • Over 10 years later, Marissa is a Google Executive with her official title being; Vice President of Location and Local Services, and is frequently the warm, public face of the tech Goliath

To me personally, this short synopsis is extremely inspiring.
