This holiday season get them that Star Wars USB they’ve always wanted…

Just because something’s weird or ‘freaky’, doesn’t mean that people aren’t going to want to buy it.

Girls and careers in technology is a hot topic here on SheBytes. We’ve written about whether the amount of technology firms headed by female CEO’s and executives is improving, and have drawn attention to women led startups who are trying to tip the scales.

A recent CNN Tech article titled “Cyber Monday was biggest online shopping day ever in U.S.” reported that, well; Cyber Monday 2011 was a huge success.

YouTube Insight is a radical new way…oh wait, I’ve seen this before.

I saw a post today by Wired that focused on a much enhanced version of YouTube’s current user analytics interface:

Social Media and gender are a hot topic, especially here on SheBytes, a tech blog written from a woman’s perspective. Women and men approach many things differently; and we are fascinated and really spellbound by the ways in which social media enable us not only to reach an incomparable number of people (when we look at how our past generations reached out to others), but also at how to engage and connect.

Hack a pair of 3D glasses and an LCD monitor so that only you can see what you’re doing!

This has got to be one of the most awesome hacks SheBytes has ever posted.

If you do everything correctly (full instructions can be found here courtesy of Instructables), your monitor and glasses will function as in the video above.

Forget about screen protectors…this is a radical and new level of privacy!

Now only you will be able to watch your screen, and you can sit back and relax in retro glasses while doing it.
