The Chronology of Mobile Technology Evolution

After the introduction of the Motorola RAZR in 2004, consumers and electronic companies started to define what a cell phone should look like–small and thin. But as the Apple iPhone became a hit in 2007, the definition of a cell phone, or should I say smartphone, became tall and wide (but still thin).  How did this sudden change occur in less than a decade? Product measurements matter!

SheBytes is uber-involved when it comes to female technology and product studies. What has become evident to numerous companies, like Bang and Olufsen because of previously failed attempts to break through to the female market, by companies like Lego, is is that women don’t only care about making things pink. A TechCrunch article titled “Ladies Love Cool Gadgets Too, Says Study”, has a couple of great stats that are making waves on the Internet, but chief among them is the one enumerated below:

I’m enamored with apps that are as elegant and as crucial as EasyBib!

Being that I’m a college student myself (I’m currently a Junior at NYU), I can relate firsthand that I don’t really mind writing lengthy research papers, midterms or even finals.

Facebook Timeline has been making waves throughout the Internet.

We all love Facebook.

It seems that everywhere I look, there is a widening disparity between male and female entrepreneurs, most notably in the tech sector.

Whether this difference comes down to what toys we grow up playing with, or just the ways in which men and women approach technology, I am always struck when I see something which exhibits that in fact the gender gap is closing.

I recently read an article, on NYDailyNews titled “Golden Ladies of NYC”, which totally inspired me!
