Since all the way back in April, SheBytes has been watching the iPhone 5 reporting on all the latest mockups!

Although this is definitely something I would NOT recommend trying at home; it’s damn cool!

By far the most awesome way to erase data you have stored on CDs, I would first search for a less permanent solution.

Since the beginning of SheBytes “Freaky Friday, IT Oddities” series, we’ve seen the stupid, the scary, and the fuzzy.

This week’s edition; is just downright dangerous!

Foursquare is our favorite socializing app. We think it’s the best because it turns city exploration and your current location into a socializing experience!

Now you might come back at me with another question: “Why in the world would I want people to know where I am at all times?!”

Now to be fair, that is an excellent question and was my first reaction too, the first time I heard of foursquare. But this is exactly why I thought it was important to do a write-up on the quickly growing company:

I’m not exactly sure what more needs to be said after you’ve watched this video from the team at Xion, except that the material used in the pads reminds me a lot of the 1997, Robin Williams film, Flubber.

Think of any other applications for the material? Let us know, below!

Although I sincerely enjoy writing and blogging, I also recognize that other mediums of communication; like pictures and videos, are (sometimes), undoubtedly superior.

IO2 Technology developed a hologram-like product which, is already for sale, (albeit at a minimum of 39K!!).

The relatively new company Klout, did a really awesome post on their site blog about iPhone and Android.

If you haven’t heard of Klout, Renee did a great post on them titled: “Have You Got Klout? Track Your Self-Brand”. But for our lazier readers; “Klout is a social media scorecard.  The site assigns individuals a personal “Klout Score”, ranging from 1 to a 100, which is a measure “of your overall online influence”.

Our DJing best app pick is called: djay, an app designed to turn your portable music player into a full-fledged, music mayhem, disc jockeying machine!

Created by the obviously brilliant team at algoriddim, at $19.99, djay is the most expensive app to date in our “Best 30 Apps For…” series, so I’m here to tell you why it’s well worth the bling.

“After iPhone 5, Apple May Merge OS X and iOS.”

At SheBytes, we don’t hide our Apple fixation.

Renee recently did a post on the differences between “Mac users VS PC People” and we have even dedicated a whole series; “Tips and Tricks for iPad 2 & iPhone 4”, in Apple’s honor!

Because of this, I’m particularly excited about an International Business Times (IBS), post, titled; “After iPhone 5, Apple May Merge OS X and iOS”.

Today’s Video Byte is a really cool segment, that I recommend you watch in full screen. Although I’m sure you’ve used Google Maps, in the past, because of how useful it is, a bunch of kids really took the product out of the box.

Using a projector, a couch and a computer, they were able to simulate an entire cross country drive on Route 66 and had an awesome time doing it!
