Censorship is alive… and it’s about to take over the Internet. There is a new bill floating around the House of Representatives called SOPA –Stop Online Piracy Act. In theory it sounds fair – it would give the music and movie industries (among others) the right to keep their copyrighted materials from being stolen and republished online illegally.

In the 21st century, lines between technology and art are becoming more and more blurred each day, forming fashion tendencies of its own.

Here at SheBytes, we’ve already followed a number of fashion creations produced by high end fashion houses, specifically created to accommodate your phones, laptops, tablets and many more of your everyday gadgets.

Normally, fashion items of that sort are created in collaborations between tech companies and major fashion designers of the likes of Chanel, Dior, Lois Vuitton. However, in an interesting twist; a fresh high-end fashion innovation came to us from an unexpected place in the shape of a middle-aged professor of architecture at Cardiff University; Richard Weston.

Few things impress me as much as Echo Design gloves… gloves that let you text on your smartphone while wearing them!  A winter’s dream come true for texters everywhere!

I’m not that easy to impress. But Echo Design’s gloves, really hit the mark. I got these as a birthday present last week and I haven’t looked back at my old winter gloves even once!

Today’s retrotech flashback is none other than the Laserdisc (LD), the first commercial optical disc storage medium.  Sometimes man (or woman) produces a piece of technology that is so strange and obscure, we look back at this piece of tech and say to ourselves “WTF were we thinking?!”  Here is a prime example.

We all know that any Apple release; the whole drama, from inception through production and delivery is, well pretty dramatic. No Apple product would get its proper welcome into the world without at least one issue people love to gripe about:

If you’ve played with a Furby, a Chatbot, or Siri, you’ve probably said a few strange things to them just to see how they’ll react.  Well, someone took it a step further and paired Furby with the latest and greatest Siri app, just to see what those two would say to one another.  This is hilarious and it could go on for hours. 

Oh, and this is what happens when you pair two chatbots together, in case you’re wondering.
