Will You Be My Valentine? Tech Gift Ideas for Valentine’s Day

Posted by Renee Schmidt on February 9th, 2012

Valentine’s Day only comes around once a year.

And no matter how long you’ve been in a relationship or what religion or ethnicity you are, there’s nothing like February 14th; a great excuse to show someone you love them. So here are two great tech Valentine’s Day gift ideas, SheBytes has handpicked for  you guys our readers, to show you how we feel.

Altec Lansing Octiv Duo iPod Speaker:

Available right here, for just $99.99 this is the ideal Valentine’s Day gift for a couple that lives together. Show your true desire to compromise and your deep love by laying it all on the line and showing that you’re even willing to suffer through your loved one’s music for them.

Device includes an app that lets you decide how much music from each iPod to play. Maybe that’s something you should keep to yourself (50-50 probably won’t cut it).

I Like You/Poke Facebook Valentine’s Day Card’s:

Let’s take a second and just pretend we’re not still upset with Facebook because of this whole ‘Timeline’ business.

Now that you’re with me, what’s more romantic than giving a cheeky and memorable Valentine’s Day card (with or in place of a gift), this February 14th? A whole bunch of things actually, but not many are this techy/geeky as well!

Available in ‘I Like You’ or ‘Poke’, these cards are ready to buy right now on Etsy; grab one for just $4 or a pack of four for just $10 and enjoy…

♥ HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! ♥

For Valentine’s Day, my girlfriend got me this great USB flash drive called the ‘Vault Revolution.’  It protects my files from prying eyes. (She knows I’m constantly losing things. A year ago, I lost my laptop and went through a rough patch after someone stole my identity… but that’s a different story entirely.)  The Vault has been fantastic so far.  Might not be the ‘flashiest’ gift, (get it?) but it’s something that I use almost everyday.  I recommend you check out the Vault file security system.
