SheBytes and Raspberry Pi have more in common, than meets the eye.

For starters, both of us enjoy cute and petite technology. We both see the power in the small, but powerful.

Secondly, Raspberry Pi’s tag line; “Take a byte!” makes us think that they’re fans of SheBytes themselves.

Either way, the charity, Raspberry Pi has done something astounding. David Braben and the Raspberry Pi team have developed a USB stick, sized computer. If you think you misunderstood that last statement, read it again.

Everyone knows that the markets; the stock market, the bond market, currency markets, etc. are defined by ups and downs.

Nowhere else does a simple up or down arrow; a plain green or a red icon, have so much immediate force and presence in the human mind. It’s as if the entire world senses and perceives that tiny red down arrow, as a sign of impending doom, or as the very bringer of apocalypse (“the end of the world as we know it”).

Once in a blue moon, we have that subtle moment of revelation…

All the time; a multitude of ideas are flowing around us and right through us, but how rare is the occasion where we are able to hold that instant long enough to bring it out.

One man who certainly had the ability to hold onto that moment was Jim Henson. Henson is probably the world’s most famous puppeteer.
