Dan Pink, on “Drive” and Motivation in the Workplace

Posted by Jesse Braunstein on July 28th, 2011

Daniel Pink (or just Dan Pink), a proponent of human drive, is hell-bent on motivation and changing the workplace, and he has an impressive resume, to say the least.

Besides being a bestselling author, with works translated into numerous languages, he has served in the White House “as chief speechwriter to Vice President Al Gore.”

The video above is fascinatingly interesting! I literally couldn’t pull myself away, and its also a must watch, because of the awesome animations!

I’m particularly excited about Pink’s newest book; Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us, as it amalgamates and combines work from my two favorite fields; Psychology and Economics, to build a better understanding of the workplace.

Let me know what you think about the workplace, below!
