It's great if you want to collect a deposit or get paid in full on the spot. The 2.75% interest charge and if you enter the credit card numbers manually, Square costs 3.5% + 15¢ per transaction. This is not my favorite pricing structure for processing cards, it's more expensive then AMEX, but the convenience factor for when your not in the office or in front of a computer to process the a card is what sells this for me.
